FAQ

Good questions.

How long does a wrapped kitchen last?

Interior film is warrantied by the manufacturer for up to 12 years. Keep toasters and air fryers away from the underside of upper cabinets; heat above 170 F is the one thing it does not like.

Will it look like contact paper?

No. Architectural film is a thick, textured, cast vinyl with real grain and sheen. You can run a sample over your door before deciding.

How long is the kitchen out of service?

Most kitchens are two days. Doors and drawer fronts come off and are wrapped on benches, the boxes are wrapped in place, and everything goes back on the second day. Nothing is plumbed or wired.

Can I change my mind later?

Yes. The film peels back and the cabinet underneath is untouched, so you can re-wrap or paint later.

What if a panel gets damaged?

That panel is replaced on its own. The film peels back clean and the surface underneath is untouched, so a scratched door or a dented elevator panel never means redoing the whole run.

How do I clean it?

Mild detergent, warm water and a soft cloth. No abrasive pads, bleach or degreasers.

Is there a minimum job size?

Mobile jobs carry a minimum purchase order of $1,200. Smaller pieces such as a single vanity or a few doors can be brought to the shop in El Cajon.

Ready when you are.

Photos of the kitchen and a rough door count get you a range the same day; a 30-minute home visit gets you a firm number and samples on the doors.
