How California Motorsports collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us online, in the shop, and over the phone.

Last updated: October 27, 2026

California Motorsports (“California Motorsports,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit california-motorsports.com (the “Site”), request a quote or estimate, place an order, or use our services; how we use and share that information; and the choices you have. By using the Site or our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. Our Terms of Service also apply to your use of the Site.

01Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. We collect the information you choose to give us, including:

  • Contact details — your name, phone number, email address, and, for orders, your billing and shipping address.
  • Vehicle and project details — year, make, model, VIN, license plate, mileage, current condition, the services you are interested in, and photos or videos you upload through our build inquiry, quote, wrap quote, and collision estimate forms.
  • Insurance and claim information — when you request a collision estimate, the name of your insurer, claim number, deductible, and related details you provide.
  • Business information — for commercial, fleet, and architectural wrap projects, your company name, job site address, and project specifications.
  • Order and account information — items purchased, order history, and the details you store in a Site account. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
  • Communications — the contents of emails, text messages, WhatsApp chats, phone calls, reviews, and other messages you exchange with us.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, such as your IP address, approximate location, device and browser type, operating system, referring website, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this information using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, and security tools such as Google reCAPTCHA and Cloudflare Turnstile that help protect our forms from spam and abuse. See “Cookies and Analytics” below.

Information from other sources. We may receive information about you from insurance companies and adjusters handling a claim on your vehicle, from vehicle dealerships or other partners who refer you to us, from parts and materials suppliers in connection with your order, and from social media platforms when you interact with our pages or embedded content.

02How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and prepare quotes and estimates;
  • Schedule, perform, and deliver the services you request, including arranging vehicle pick-up and drop-off;
  • Process and fulfill online orders, including payment, shipping, and returns;
  • Communicate with you about your vehicle, project, estimate, order, or appointment by phone, email, text message, or WhatsApp;
  • Coordinate with insurers, adjusters, and parts suppliers in connection with your repair or order;
  • Send you promotional offers, news, and updates about our services if you have opted in, which you can stop at any time;
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and our services, and understand how visitors use the Site;
  • Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse; and
  • Comply with legal obligations, including California automotive repair recordkeeping requirements, and protect our legal rights.

03How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting and security, form and email delivery, payment processing, shipping carriers, analytics, customer messaging, and scheduling tools. These providers may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • Affiliated locations, including our California Collision Center repair locations, when a job is performed or coordinated there.
  • Insurance companies, adjusters, parts suppliers, and sublet partners (for example, alignment, glass, or mechanical specialists) as needed to estimate, repair, or complete your vehicle or project.
  • Legal and safety purposes, when we believe disclosure is required by law, subpoena, or government request, or is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of California Motorsports, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case your information may be transferred to the successor.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

04Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small files placed on your device that help the Site function, remember your preferences, keep items in your cart, and help us understand how the Site is used. We use:

  • Essential cookies required for the Site, shopping cart, checkout, and account features to work;
  • Analytics cookies from Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, which tell us which pages are visited, how visitors arrive at the Site, and how they move through it;
  • Security cookies from Google reCAPTCHA and Cloudflare Turnstile, which help us tell real visitors from bots; and
  • Advertising cookies, when we run online ad campaigns, such as Google Ads conversion and remarketing tags that measure our ads and may show you relevant ads on other sites.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them, although some Site features may not work properly without them. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing Google’s browser add-on and manage personalized ads through Google’s Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of targeted advertising cookies where required by law. The Site does not otherwise respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

05Text Messages and Calls

When you provide your phone number through the Site, by phone, or in person, you agree that we may call or text you about your inquiry, estimate, appointment, vehicle, or order, including status updates and pick-up notifications. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. We will send marketing text messages only with your consent. You can stop receiving texts at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for assistance. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. We do not share your mobile phone number or text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

06Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain our business records, and meet legal obligations. California law requires automotive repair facilities to keep estimates, invoices, and work records for at least three years, and tax and warranty records may be kept longer. Website inquiry data, analytics data, and marketing lists are kept for shorter periods and deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.

07Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections, access controls, and reputable hosting and payment providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please contact us right away if you believe your information or account has been compromised.

08Your Choices and Rights

Marketing. You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any message and of marketing texts by replying STOP. We may still send you transactional messages about your vehicle, project, or order.

Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below. We will verify your identity before responding and may retain information that we are required to keep by law or that is needed for a job in progress.

California residents. If you are a California resident, and to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) applies to our business, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; the right to request deletion or correction; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email or phone number below. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code § 1798.83) permits California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes; we do not make such disclosures.

09Children’s Privacy

The Site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and anyone under 18 should use the Site only with a parent or guardian’s involvement. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10Third-Party Sites and Embedded Content

The Site contains links to and embedded content from third parties, including YouTube videos, our Instagram feed, Google Maps and reviews, WhatsApp chat, and our payment processors. When you interact with embedded content, the third party may collect information about you under its own privacy policy, even if you do not click through. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites and encourage you to review their policies.

11Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as posting a notice on the Site or emailing you if we have your address.
